About Teckro

We founded Teckro to simplify and modernize clinical trials. In fact, thousands of clinical trial investigators and research site staff rely on Teckro to make the most informed decisions for their patients.

That’s where you come in.

We’re offering you a role with purpose. Your contribution at Teckro will lead to faster, safer and more efficient clinical trials. Quality of life will be improved. In the end, lives will be saved.

Could you be our newest Teckronaut?

What you’ll Do:

This role is for a technical writer, but you’ll be much more than that at Teckro. You will be the author, architect, and process owner for all customer-facing and internal technical documentation as well as getting hands on with product copy in our platform. Your mission is to transform complex engineering outputs into clear, structured, and actionable content that empowers our customers and internal teams.

You will:

  • Redesign and maintain our Help Center so it becomes the scalable, single source of truth for product knowledge - intuitive, accurate, and easy to navigate.
  • Own the creation and distribution of technical release notes, ensuring they are timely, precise, and tailored for different audiences (internal teams, enterprise pharmaceutical customers, and key stakeholders).
  • Act as the bridge between Engineering, Product, and Go-To-Market, bringing order and clarity to fast-moving release cycles and translating technical detail into language that meets enterprise standards.
  • Establish documentation processes and governance (templates, workflows, SLAs, and quality checks) so that every piece of content is consistent.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in complex environments, understands the demands of large enterprise customers (ideally in life sciences), and can combine technical depth with editorial excellence

Key Responsibilities:

    Technical Content Ownership

    • Redesign the information architecture (IA) and taxonomy for a modern, navigable Help Center
    • Write and edit clear, concise, accessible content: feature docs, how-tos, troubleshooting guides, data definitions, change logs, etc.
    • Build a content governance model: who reviews for technical accuracy, who verifies legal/quality/regulatory language, and who contributes clinical scenarios and customer-impact narratives.
    • Own analytics and quality: search success rate, traffic volume and satisfaction including opportunities to apply AI-supported insights.

    Product copy and guidelines

    • Create and finalize UI copy for all product surfaces (across web, mobile, email, and push notifications), ensuring consistency, adherence to product guidelines, and localisation readiness

Release Notes Program (Internal & External)

    • Design and run the release notes operating model:
    • Produce audience-specific variants:
      • Internal:
      • External:
      • Customer-specific:
    • Establish pre-announce practices for major launches, balancing accuracy, validation timelines, and customer expectations.
    • Maintain a searchable archive with semantic tags, version numbers, deployment dates, feature flags, and cross-links to Help Center articles.

    AI-Enabled Documentation

    • Integrate AI into daily documentation workflows to improve speed, consistency, and structure.
    • Use strong editorial judgement to decide where AI assists and where SME validation is required.
    • Create and maintain prompt templates and review steps that ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
    • Manage risks in AI-assisted content: factual correctness, tone, privacy, and trust.
    • Demonstrate practical examples of AI-supported documentation or release-note workflows you have built.

    Process, Standards, and Tooling

    • Collaborate with other content owners to develop, understand and enforce a style guide (voice & tone, terminology, data definitions) plus contribution guidelines for engineering and SMEs.
    • Introduce defined workflows (statuses, checklists, sign-offs, SLAs) that thrive in a fast, fluid release environment.
    • Implement quality gates: accessibility, localization readiness, metadata hygiene, and structured content (components/snippets).

      Experience/Qualifications Required:

        • 5–8+ years technical writing for enterprise SaaS (heavy customer usage), including Help Center ownership and release notes programs.
        • Demonstrated success designing technical content hubs and shipping measurable improvements to discoverability, deflection, and satisfaction.
        • Proven ability to understand build documentation processes: SLAs, sign-offs, templates, audits, and contributor workflows.
        • Proven experience in UX writing/content design/UI copy or microcopy writing for digital products
        • Experience collaborating across multiple departments: Engineering/Product/Design, Legal/Regulatory, Services/Support, and GTM in complex/regulated environments.
        • Strong information architecture, editorial, and structured-content skills; attention to accessibility and localization readiness.

        Nice to Have:

          • Background in life sciences/clinical trials software or other regulated domains.
          • Familiarity with Confluence, Jira, HubSpot/Zendesk/Intercom KBs, and docs-as-code (Markdown + Git).
