IT Manager
Ohalo Genetics
Position: IT Manager
Location: San Francisco, CA (in office)
Type: Full-time
Desired start date: ASAP
The Opportunity
We’re looking for an experienced, resourceful, and relentlessly driven IT Manager to join our innovative team. We need a do-whatever-it-takes, sleeves-rolled-up operator who thrives in ambiguity, doesn’t wait to be told what to do, and is intrinsically driven to make systems hum. If you're someone who fixes problems before they’re noticed, investigates obsessively until the issue is solved, and won't sleep until the network is secure and the team is unblocked—this role is for you.
You’ll take full ownership of our IT ecosystem across office, growing, and lab environments—cloud infrastructure, on-prem servers, specialized scientific equipment, automation systems, and everything in between. You’ll obsess over reliability, security, and scale, and you’ll move fast to make things better. We value action over process, progress over perfection. Specifically, we strive for iterative improvements, continuous learning, and a culture of proactive problem-solving. You’ll be the kind of person who doesn’t clock out when something’s broken—and takes real pride in making sure it’s fixed right and fast.
You’ll lead and evolve our IT operations, partner with an ambitious team, and be empowered to make critical decisions that directly impact how we work, build, and innovate. If you’re scrappy, self-directed, and relentless about getting things done—join us.
