About Ema

Ema is redefining how work gets done by building the next generation of agentic AI technology that empowers every employee to be their most creative and productive. Our Universal AI Employee automates repetitive tasks, enabling enterprises to focus on strategic initiatives.

Founded by ex-Google, Coinbase, and Okta executives and backed by top-tier investors and angels, Ema is well-positioned to revolutionize enterprise productivity. We are headquartered in Silicon Valley, with a growing team in Bangalore. Our hybrid work environment encourages innovation and collaboration across geographies.

Role Overview

As an Agentic Solutions Product Manager, you will work at the intersection of product strategy, enterprise workflow design, and advanced agentic AI systems. Unlike traditional product roles that focus on backlogs and roadmaps, this role focuses on observing, decoding, and transforming human workflows into fully operational AI Employees—end-to-end autonomous and semi-autonomous systems that drive real business impact.

You will partner closely with enterprise leaders to understand how processes really work, identify opportunities for agentic AI, and design multi-agent workflows that integrate data, applications, human oversight, and decision-making. You will be both a strategic advisor and a hands-on product builder, responsible for designing, delivering, and optimizing AI Employees that meaningfully change how enterprises operate.

This is a high-ownership, high-impact role ideal for entrepreneurial thinkers who thrive in ambiguity, move fast, and enjoy building from zero to one.

Key Responsibilities

1. Workflow Discovery & Process Mapping

  • Partner directly with enterprise teams to observe and map end-to-end workflows.

  • Identify inefficiencies, decision points, data dependencies, and integration requirements.

  • Document the real-world steps humans take, not just the theoretical SOPs.

2. Design & Deliver Agentic AI Employees

  • Translate workflow insights into multi-agent architectures with clearly defined responsibilities.

  • Design intuitive human-in-the-loop interfaces for oversight, exception handling, and control.

  • Collaborate with engineering to define capabilities, agent behaviors, APIs, and system integrations.

  • Ensure AI Employees are scalable, reliable, and aligned with enterprise constraints.

3. Bridge Business Needs & Engineering Execution

  • Convert ambiguous business goals into crisp, actionable product specifications.

  • Evaluate architectural trade-offs and collaborate with engineering to make critical design decisions.

  • Communicate clearly across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

4. Own the End-to-End Lifecycle

  • Lead each AI Employee from ideation and prototyping to deployment and iterative improvement.

  • Prioritize enhancements based on customer impact, operational data, and business outcomes.

  • Ensure solutions meet enterprise-grade requirements for reliability, performance, and usability.

5. Drive Customer Value & Adoption

  • Act as a strategic partner to customers, ensuring AI Employees deliver measurable ROI.

  • Facilitate training, demos, and stakeholder alignment across customer organizations.

  • Advocate internally on behalf of customers, ensuring their evolving needs inform enhancements.

6. Optimize Continuously

  • Analyze operational and performance data to identify improvement opportunities.

  • Continuously refine agent behaviors, workflows, and decision paths.

  • Discover new leverage points where agentic AI can extend automation depth or expand coverage.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 4+ years in product management, consulting, engagement management, or a founder/operator role.

  • Proven experience working directly with senior stakeholders in enterprise environments.

  • Strong ability to map, analyze, and redesign complex business workflows.

  • Ability to engage in technical discussions around architecture, APIs, and agentic design patterns.

  • Demonstrated capability to operate independently with high agency and ownership.

  • Strong systems thinking: ability to understand and design holistic multi-component solutions.

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate between business and engineering.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with generative AI or agentic AI systems.

  • Hands-on ability to prototype (“vibe coding”) to visualize workflows and user experiences.

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies, backlog tools, and lightweight technical documentation.

  • Strong analytical skills; ability to interpret data and turn insights into product decisions.

  • Technical background in CS, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
