Location: Remote We’re looking for a compassionate, tech-savvy Telehealth Registered Nurse to join our team on night shift from 1830-0630 EST. In this role, you’ll use your clinical expertise to conduct remote patient symptom surveys and triage patients by phone or video visit, escalating when necessary or deferring to routine care when appropriate. This is a temporary role through March 2027 and is 100% remote. All job functions and responsibilities are performed virtually. Candidates must have access to a HIPAA compliant, secure, quiet, private space with high-speed broadband internet. What You’ll Do:- Triage & Assessment: Conduct remote patient evaluations by phone or video using Schmitt-Thompson and other clinical protocols to assess symptom severity and urgency, including issues escalated by our frontline non-clinical team.- Patient Education: Instruct patients on the use of in-home medical devices (e.g., blood pressure monitors, pulse oximeters, spirometers, etc.) and help them interpret their health results.- Remote Monitoring: Track and review transmitted patient vitals and data, proactively reaching out to address at-risk trends or care gaps.- Documentation: Accurately and efficiently document all patient interactions, assessments, and interventions in the EMR while maintaining HIPAA compliance.- Collaboration & Growth: Work flexibly with both the clinical team and the broader organization, provide constructive feedback to improve services and technology, and stay current on new product releases to serve as a product expert for patients. Schedule:- Minimum of three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours). All team members participate in an on-call rotation for backup staffing and should be flexible to cover other shifts around vacations and holidays. What You’ll Bring:- Education: Graduate of an accredited prelicensure Registered Nurse program. Associate Degree in Nursing accepted with 2+ years of clinical experience; BSN preferred.- License: Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse license (a qualifying multi-state eNLC license), with the ability to obtain licensure in all U.S. states and territories.- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of direct, in-person clinical nursing experience in ED, ICU or acute care setting.- Skills: Strong critical thinking, excellent verbal and written communication, and solid digital literacy. Able to de-escalate stressful situations over the phone.- Remote Work Setup: A HIPAA compliant, secure, quiet, private home-office environment with high-speed broadband internet.- Technical Competence: Demonstrated experience using a computer to document information, communicate with team members and patients, and access resources. Comfortable with organizing and being proactive about email. Nice to Have:- Extended experience working on a Mac computer, and using Microsoft365, Outlook, Claude AI, and VOIP phone service.- Experience working for a medical device, health IT, or digital health company- Telephone triage experience- Telehealth experience- Spanish fluency
