Location: Rochester, NYThe Operator I is responsible for executing core medical device reprocessing, kitting, inspection, assembly, and kit correction activities to support daily warehouse and production operations. Ensures devices are cleaned, tested, configured, and prepared per quality and regulatory requirements in a fast-paced, regulated environment.What you’ll do:- Reprocess devices (cleaning, disinfecting, visual inspection, functional testing)- Perform basic electronic repair: triage, testing, troubleshooting, system updates- Identify/document/report nonconforming materials/devices/accessories per quality procedures- Assemble and configure devices per customer-specific kits and requirements- Follow prompts/work instructions to install and configure operating systems- Verify order completeness; maintain adherence to SOPs, work instructions, and safety guidelines- Handle medical devices, disinfectants, and chemicals safely; maintain clean and compliant workspace- Complete tasks accurately and on time; record all work to maintain traceability (serial/lot)- Escalate quality/safety/process issues; wear applicable PPE as required- Meet physical requirements: standing/sitting for extended periods, movement across warehouse, repetitive fine motor tasks, lifting up to 45 lbs, visual inspectionWhat you’ll bring:- High school diploma or equivalent; basic technical aptitude with electronic devices- Ability to read/follow detailed instructions and standardized procedures- Strong attention to detail, quality, organization, and time management- Ability to maintain organization/cleanliness/efficiency in fast-paced environment; comfortable wearing PPE; sufficient mobility for roleNice to have:- Experience in warehouse, manufacturing, or device reprocessing environments- Basic troubleshooting/electronic repair- Familiarity with regulated environments and working with checklists/SOPs/quality-controlled processes
