The Opportunity:
Culture Biosciences is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator, Contractor to support the day-to-day execution of Culture’s marketing programs. This role will work closely with the Marketing Director and provide hands-on support across marketing campaigns, creative production, website updates, and vendor coordination.

What You’ll Do:
Marketing Campaigns & HubSpot
- Set up and support email and digital marketing campaigns in HubSpot.
- Build emails, landing pages, forms, lists, and basic workflows based on established campaign plans.
- Coordinate campaign assets, links, deadlines, and launch requirements..
- Pull basic campaign performance reports and help organize results.
Creative & Marketing Support
- Assist with graphic layout and production of marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, one-pagers, social graphics, and trade show materials.
- Make updates and revisions to existing marketing assets while maintaining Culture’s visual brand standards.
- Work with the Marketing Director and external designers or creative partners to prepare marketing materials.
- Help organize and maintain marketing files, templates, and brand assets.
Website & Digital Content
- Make routine updates to website pages, images, links, and other content.
- Publish and update landing pages and digital marketing content.
- Assist with keeping website content accurate, current, and consistent with Culture’s messaging and brand.
Vendor & Budget Support
- Coordinate with marketing vendors on project details, deliverables, timelines, and invoices.
- Track marketing expenses and maintain accurate budget and spending records.
- Coordinate with vendors and Accounts Payable to ensure invoices are submitted and processed correctly.
- Assist with purchase orders, vendor documentation, and other marketing-related administrative tasks.
- Provide regular updates to the Marketing Director on marketing spend and outstanding invoices.
Team Support
- Work closely with the Marketing Director to keep marketing projects organized and on schedule.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to gather information and complete assigned projects.
- Manage assigned tasks independently and communicate proactively about priorities and deadlines.
- Provide general marketing support as priorities evolve.
About You:
- 1–3 years of experience in marketing, marketing operations, communications, or a related field; relevant internship or equivalent experience considered.
- Experience with HubSpot or another marketing automation/CRM platform preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Basic experience with graphic design or layout tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience updating websites or working with a CMS is a plus.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, budgets, invoices, and vendor information.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn new software and processes quickly.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and willing to jump in wherever needed.
- Interest in biotechnology, life sciences, or technology is a plus.
Location & Schedule:
- This is an onsite, 6 month contract position based in South San Francisco, CA.
- Approximately 10–15 hours per week.
Base Hourly Range:
- Culture Biosciences offers market-competitive compensation. Our expected hourly rate range for this contractor role is $38 - $52 per hour. Final rates may vary within the range provided based on experience, expertise, qualifications, and other factors.
